Light, Spacious, Three Bedroom Period House with Garden – close to the Games

We love our house and we are South East London converts. Our two storey Corbett terraced house is tucked away within easy walking distance to multiple transport facilities and is light, airy, and full of sunshine due to its aspect and elevated prospect.

We are offering our home and garden (as you can see with riotous colour) containing:

Upstairs:
Three bedrooms furnished to sleep five and family bathroom that includes a long bath/shower.

Downstairs:
A long spacious sitting room with a generous settee, other comfortable chairs, HD television with DVD player, a Midi CD-System and lots of CDs (since we are not quite fully committed to MP3s). The dining room has a table that can seat at least six people. This leads into a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and bread making machine!) There is also a utility room (with washing machine, toilet and washbasin).

Outside:

There is a compact back garden with a decked area and no mowing! Surrounded by flowers and hanging baskets, there is also a parasol, wooden table, four canvas chairs and garden bench.

There is broadband internet access throughout the house and we will supply towels and linen for your stay.
Unfortunately no smokers and no pets allowed.

We are looking for people who want to enjoy their time in the UK, both in London and in our home which is clean, unpretentious and comfortable. We think it is a bolt hole from the excitement of the Olympics and the hustle, bustle of central London.

Our location – Olympics and London

Our house is situated in a quiet part of SE London and within walking distance to Lewisham which is served by a variety of buses, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and overland rail network.

For Olympic events:
Greenwich Park (Equestrian and Pentathlon) via DLR (3 stops) or 1.5 mile walk across Blackheath Common.
For Stratford Olympic Site, DLR (30-40 minutes).
For 02 Dome (Gymnastics, Trampoline & Basketball), DLR/Jubilee line (25 mins).
Out of London events are available from Central London rail stations.

Take the DLR for easy access to Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Stratford, London City Airport and the City of London. Take the overland rail that goes every few minutes to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross giving close access to the Thames River, the London Eye, Tate Modern, The Dome and South Bank centres and Parliament.

Lewisham, Blackheath and Greenwich

Central Lewisham has a daily market renowned for well priced fresh produce and has good supermarkets. Blackheath (1.5 miles) has boutique shopping, a good range of restaurants and pubs and a Sunday Farmers Market. Greenwich (1.5 Miles) has the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, old Royal Navy buildings and a bustling crafts market as well as Restaurants.

Ideally, the minimum rental period is 2 weeks on this property.

Balance Three Months before arrival.
